▪️A gazette notification has been issued imposing a Rs.10 special commodity levy on a kilogram of imported maize effective from the 3rd of September until the 31st of December.

New rooftop solar tariffs by next week☀️⚡
Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekara says that he met with the members of the committee appointed to revise tariff rates on rooftop solar.
Accordingly, the Minister said that the committee members have held meetings with its stakeholders, and plans are underway to introduce the new tariffs by next week.
