Mobile, Broadband, & Pay TV charges increased 🗼📱📈
▪️The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) has approved upward tariff revision for all Mobile, Fixed, and Pay TV service providers. Tariff will come into effect from Monday, the 5th of September 2022.
▪️Thereby, mobile, fixed, broadband, and other services tariffs have been increased by 20%, while all Pay TV tariffs have been increased by 25%, it added.
▪️ලබන 5 වැනිදා සිට ජංගම දුරකථන, ස්ථාවර දුරකථන, බ්‍රෝඩ්බෑන්ඩ් ගාස්තු හා අමතර සේවා ගාස්තු 20%කින් ඉහළ නැංවීමට TRCSL අනුමැතිය. ලබන 5 වැනිදා සිට VAT බද්දත් 15% දක්වා ඉහළට.

18-hour water cut in Colombo city and suburban areas 💧🚫⚠️
▪️The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NSWDB) announced that an 18-hour water cut would be in place in Colombo and its suburbs from 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, until 2 a.m. on Sunday, September 4.
▪️Colombo, Dehiwela-Mount Lavinia, Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte, Kaduwela Municipality regions, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kolonnawa Municipality areas, Kotikawatta, Mulleriyawa, Ratmalana, and Katubedda will be impacted, according to a statement from the NSWDB.
